Course Content
This is a self-paced study course, designed to introduce students to macroeconomics. Macroeconomics is the analysis of the aggregate economic variables including GDP, inflation, growth, unemployment. The aim of this course is to develop an understanding of how these important variables are determined.
We will also study the main macroeconomic policy tools of monetary and fiscal policy, and learn about the challenges that face policy makers. To further our understanding we shall make wide use of the excellent resources available on the Internet.
