Course OverviewGeology of the National Parks

Course ContentGeology 213 is designed for students with limited science backgrounds and can be taken without prerequisites. Material presented in the text is to give the reader an overview of the general geology of national parks. For each assigned chapter, students are directed to focus on what geologic and historic events at each site make the area attractive as a national park. Distance Delivery MethodsThis class is offered online, utilizing a web browser and e-mail. Please review the course access requirements to determine your eligibility. Textbook(s) is required for this class. You will also need to set up an exam proctor to take the exams. TuitionThis is a "self-support" course. The course fee is listed above. This fee is paid regardless of student residency status or total course load. This fee replaces regular tuition for the four-credit courses. For more information on tuition consult the Registrar's Office. Course fees are subject to change at anytime.
